We have comprehensive in-house training and support programmes for new members of staff and ongoing training and support for existing staff as new products, procedures or technology are introduced. In addition, we provide inter-departmental training to ensure that all staff understand and appreciate the work of other departments and divisions and are able to associate with a cause greater than their own function. Our appraisal scheme ensures that we support every member of staff with regard to their job performance and personal development.

We aim to provide a remuneration structure that ensures that people feel valued and are particularly well rewarded for exceptional effort or results. In addition to a basic salary we build in commission and/or bonus schemes.

Pension –We operate a stakeholder-compliant company pension scheme that employees may contribute to after 3 months service. We will make contributions to an employee’s Company Pension Scheme after 2 years continuous employment.

Private Medical Insurance – after a qualifying period employees will be entitled to participate, at the Company’s expense, in the Company’s Private Medical Expenses Insurance Scheme (subject to the rules of the scheme).

We do not have a rigid dress code although it is expected that staff will dress smartly to create a professional rather than casual impression.

We organise varied social events throughout the year, to which all staff are invited. Examples of these events include trips to London, Amsterdam, Dublin and a weekend party organised by the Properties Division at Winmarleigh Hall where staff were able to try the activities on offer.

We encourage and support involvement in fundraising. Charities that have benefited include Children in Need, Comic Relief and the Jeans for Genes Appeal, in addition to donations to local events.
